90-Degree Pivot vs. 17″ Blades: A Surprising Cut Comparison

Delivered before the promised delivery date. Assembly was easy as the manufacturing quality is very good and all parts fit properly. appears to be very well built. Fewer paint touch ups required than most othre implements I’ve assembled over the years. The design is very good with appropriate gauge steel and heavy greaseable bearings and swivel joints. Have mowed out our 300 ft ditch twice with good results. Very impressed overall and an excellent value for the price.

IMPORTANT: You need to fill the gearbox with 90wt or 80W90 gear oil up to the level plug before using. The operator’s manual clearly shows the location of the level and drain plugs. You will need to remove the plastic shield from the gearbox to access the level plug.

Also,as spelled out in the operator’s manual,you need to adjust yoru top link so the rear of the mower is 15 degrees lower than the front to prevent scalping and the skids shoes from digging into the ground. The height of cut is adjusted by the length of the top link. The rear roller is what the mower should be riding on – NOT the skids shoes. This is why they are not adjustable and don’t need to be. The tilt from front to back determines the height of cut when your 3 pt hitch is all the way down.

Works good on a 25hp but a 30hp+ would be best. Excellent machine. Run it behind a 25hp kioti. A 30hp would be better for grass, but loves the thick woody areas. Mows it all down and leaves mulch behind.

Broke before an acre was mowed. Gearbox seems to have locked up within 2 hrs of mowing. I went ahead and replaced the 80 weight oil to see if that would free it up. Someone from the company wanted me to take apart the gearbox and check the gears? It’s a 3000 dollar mower that quit in a couple hrs of mowing.Update: They sent me a new gearbox and blades. They also agreed to pay the bill for the mechanic to change out said gearbox. I’ll update again when the 375.00 has been credited. it took a minute but they did follow through on what was agreed.The mower is solid built. I’m sure the gearbox was a fluke. More later.

Nice mower for the money recommend a medium frame tractor. I give it 4 stars not because it doesn’t work but it doesn’t work with the quick hitch and I don’t think I like hammer blades over Y blades. The gear box at full swing makes a ticking noise which I was told is fine but I don’t know about that for sure. Cuts fine but no slipper clutch means it will stall your tractor if you start grading with it.

I’m running this on a Kubota BX it’s a bit much and it’s tippy and kind of unruly if you’re not careful but the BX will handle it if you know what you’re doing.

While the welds are clean and the materials appear to be of high quality, the product was released before the company had received any instructions on assembling the heavy components – no video to aid in the assembly of this mower. I wish the company well, but the era of AI, y’all could help your customers build your gear. Have used the mower about 4 more times to mow out our ditch banks, and have had zero issues.It cuts well and works perfectly. I’m still extremely happy with this mower,and am still very impressed with the quality.
